Bountiful Main Street Car Show

So, we took the fam' to the Bountiful Main Street Car Show and Parade and had a fun time. Lots of people and lots of cars. What a great atmosphere to enjoy "small town USA" with your family and some hot rods. Here's a few of my favorite rods.

S197 Mustang + Rotas = FlushStang

So, my bro BurtRod and I have been benchracing an idea...adding 18x10's (or 18x9.5's) low-ish offset Rota wheels to an S197 chassis Mustang (2005-2010 for the chassis code clueless). Lots of parts, lots of used examples (especially V6 cars) and not many (read: any) are running this setup. What do you think? Leave a comment! Seen any stangs setup like this in your area?

1964 Comet Caliente for sale in Grantsville, Utah

So, I emailed this guy and he says it runs! He's asking $2000. I think I'm going to call him and go see it. ha ha I think the '64 Comet is the car I'd really like to do because it was poppi's hot rod and I just dig the thing.
He's says: "1964 Mercury Comet Caliente 2 door Hard top, automatic, a/c, power steering. The car has been sitting for years, little rust on the rear quarters. I bought the car for $2500 a year ago with plans to restore it but don't have the time with all my other projects."

Cool Dart 440 rendering and japanese wheels!

This is a very cool rendering done on pro-touring.com forums in this link here: http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?p=534546#post534546

It is a good inspiration for how I'd like to build a 60's muscle car with these types of rims from wheeldude.com
