70's Japanese Vintage Racing

So, found these killer pics on japanesenostalgiccar forum. Really lovin' the Celica's with fat rear wheel/tire combos. If I had a 70's Celica, I'd want it to look like that man!
Check that orange Mazda RX pulling the inside front wheel off the ground on corner exit. That's some serious traction and chassis stiffness (I guess right?...). I love me some vintage J-tin with fender flares and big meats.
They don't make cars like they used to. Chrome bumpers, metal, fender mirrors, 14x9 wheels, carbed dohc 4 cylinders screamin'. I was born 20 years too late. ;)

Potential of a mid '70's Toyota Corona

So, these are some nice modded Corona's I found on the net. forums. Gotta love the small diameter, wide japanese vintage wheels, simple exterior mods, fender side mirrors and fender flares. Man I love this old japanese classic cars. Gotta get me a project car once the basement is finished this spring/summer. ;)

1974 Toyota Corona 2 door coupe for sale in Ute

So, this '74 Corona is going for $1000 up in Ogden. It's been in one family since new. It looks to be in great shape. The bummer is its an auto trans (3speed). It has an 18RC (2.0L 4 cylinder) which is pretty trusty. I did some searching on google images for corona's and almost all i saw were 4 doors or a 2 door hard top without the door post and a more "fastback" shape rear area. I confirmed that by the looks of the front end, its definitely a '74. Anyway, a cool find for someone looking for a vintage Toyota.

Crazy headers on this 4age

Dude, check these headers. This is on an 86 I found on I don't know how they made these headers. It's like a piece of art. Probably flows nicely too.

Covert's Corvette's

Here's a tribute to the Chebby Corvette for my buddy. Enjoy!

Tonight, I'm just like..."why can't I have a career doing something with my passion, cars, modifying cars" Anyway, that last statement has nothing to do with these pics. These are some cool hatchbacks from forums.

Full size Honda model kit...

So, today I registered on a new forum, fatlace forums. I guess its sort of a photography, art, hip stuff, and cars, especially those with flush wheel setups. Anyway, these pics are only a few of the many the owner posted. This shows how a car project goes together, with amazing photography to show it off. It's kind of like putting together a big model kit, right? ;)
