Here's my latest plastic project. It didn't turn out awesome, but its a cool car still. I actually photoshopped these with Christy's help. It's fun. Doing plastic car photoshoot's will help me with angles and photohop.
So, this plastic model was inspired by the sweet rides I saw this summer at Speed Week on the Salt. It's got a lowered stance, stock steelies with white walls, red interior and killer black paint. I took these pics with the fam's new D90 D-SLR. Thanks hon for helping me set this thing up.
Here's my next tuner car for the plastic tuner shop "Hechtspeed". :) This is a '96 RX-7 Turbo ready for the touge (winding mountain road). It didn't turn out as "cool" as the Skyline, but I really like the silver on white wheels look.
I just finished putting this killer model together tonight. It was a birthday present. I just had to have a Skyline in my plastic garage. This one came molded in the gold metal flake, I just added the "carbon fiber" hood and trunk. I'm diggin' the Volk Racing TE-37's and cf rear diffuser for those 200mph runs. :) Enjoy!

Here's the newest addition to my plastic garage! This is the Nissan Silvia S15 in drift get-up. I only put half the decals on it. It turned out nice. I used the orange paint from my orange cardboard '32 roadster. Nice!
I like the aluminum kenards that came with the kit. It also has suspension, but I wish I left the springs (yes, it has real springs) off because it would look better even lower. Anyway, enjoy!
So, still can't afford the real thing, so I thought I'd build a model kit. This is an Evo V WRC kit of the Tommy Makkinen (sp?) car from 1998 I believe. It took me about 15-20 hours to paint and build this thing. It was a lot of fun. Now Jacob wants me to build him a "Suby". :) Enjoy!
Man, I forgot how fun it was to build model cars. All I've done is model airplanes lately. I'm really getting into these late 20's, early 30's roadsters/coupes.
